What is PCSX2?

PCSX2 is a Playstation 2 'emulator', a free program that tries to replicate the Playstation 2 console to enable you to play PS2 games on your PC.

How do I use it?

1. Download the version suited for you from From Below (for beginners, the full installer of the latest stable release is recommended)
2. Get the BIOS file from your Playstation 2 console. This is not included with PCSX2 since it is a Sony copyright so you have to get it from your console. Visit the tools section to find out how to do this.
3. Install PCSX2
4. Configure PCSX2. For beginners the Configuration Guide video and the Quick Start configuration guide should help you. For a detailed description of every single option you can always refer to the full guide.
5. Insert your PS2 game CD/DVD in your DVD rom. You can either run it directly from the disc or create an ISO image of your disc with a program like IMGburn for faster reads.
6. Enjoy!!!

It works but its slow!

This is the most common problem users experience. PCSX2 is a very hardware intensive program, especially on your processor.
It is highly recommended you read the first post of this thread: Will PCSX2 run fast on my computer? and if you still have questions reply to the thread, there are many helpful members who will answer.

System Requirements

Minimum (most games will be unplayable slow)

• Windows/Linux OS
• CPU: Any that supports SSE2 (Pentium 4 and up, Athlon64 and up)
• GPU: Any that supports Pixel Shader model 2.0, except Nvidia FX series (broken SM2.0, too slow anyway)
• 512MB RAM (note Vista needs at least 2GB to run reliably)

Recommended

• Windows Vista / Windows 7 (32bit or 64bit) with the latest DirectX
• CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 3.2 GHz or better OR i3/i5/i7 @ 2,8 GHz or better OR AMD Phenom II @ 3,2 GHz or better
• GPU: 8800gt or better (for Direct3D10 support)
• RAM: 1GB on Linux/Windows XP, 2GB or more on Vista / Windows 7

Warning: Because of the nature of emulation, even if you meet the recommended requirements there will be games that will NOT run at full speed, due to emulation bugs or other limitations.

Transfer App Data From One iPhone or iOS Device to Another.!

When it comes to apps, many of them increasingly rely on iCloud or iTunes to sync data and/or progress across devices. However, if you don’t want to use either of these or if perhaps you would like to share all your data from one app or your progress in let’s say, a game with someone else (like the one pointed 

out in the screenshots below), then you are out of luck.

Or at least that’s what I would say if this nifty trick didn’t exist. With it, you will learn how to easily transfer all (or almost all) app data from one iPhone or iOS device to another with just your computer and a USB cable and most importantly, without both your iOS devices having to be logged into the same account to do so.

Transferring App Data to Another iOS Device

Before starting, make sure to download the iExplorer application for free from these links: Windows & Mac. It is a previous version of the app, and the developers now have an improved version of it, but they charge an arm and a leg for this new version. So use the links above and spare your wallet from some unnecessary pain.
Ok, let’s get going.
Step 1: Take the iPhone or other iOS device that you want to get data from and plug it to your Mac or Windows PC using its USB cable.
Once you do, open the iExplorer application on your computer and wait until your iPhone is detected by it.

Step 2: Click the arrow next to the iPhone’s name. Then open the Apps menu in similar fashion. You will find a list of all the available applications on your iPhone. Locate the one you want to transfer data from.


Step 3: Open the app’s folder and scroll down until you find the Documents folder within it. This is the folder that contains all the data that you want to transfer. Right-click on that folder and choose Export to Folder… from the available options. Create a new folder on your desktop. When prompted, select that folder as the destination to save the data (in our example, the app data folder).



Step 4: Once the data transfer is done, disconnect the iOS device from your computer, plug in the iPhone or iOS device where you want to transfer the data to and wait until it is detected by the useful iExplorer application.

Step 5: Like you did before, open the enclosing iPhone icon, then the Apps menu and navigate until you reach the folder containing the app where you want to transfer the exported data to.

Step 6: Open the app’s enclosing folder and find its Documents folder. Open it, select all of its enclosed elements and delete them. Confirm the delete command when asked to do so.

Note: Alternatively, you could also just overwrite the data on the Documents folder with the one you have.

Step 7: Select all the data from within the Documents folder that you exported to your desktop and drag it to the Documents folder you just emptied within the app in iExplorer. Wait until the transfer is done and unplug your iPhone or other iOS device.

Cool Tip: If you are still missing some info, you can also try transferring the Library folder.

You are done. You can now open the app on the iOS device where you copied the data to and you will see that all the scores, notes, level progression and more have transferred flawlessly.
