Tata Docomo
one of India's topmost Telecom service provider has come up with a
unique concept by which Docomo users can make free calls using there Docomo mobile number without activating or subscribing to a pack or plan.
Well like any other services offered by Telecom operator there's always a catch. To make free call through your number you have to first install an app called "Tata Docomo Get " which is available for mobile platforms like Android, Java, Blackberry and Symbian. You can download the Tata Docomo Get app from there respective device's Mobile store app or else you can call customer care to activate Tata docomo Get service and they will send you the link in your mobile to download the app . It will ask you to fill your Gender and Date of birth. After that it will say "Tata Docomo Get has been activated. Enjoy !!!. ". You can see in the Daily Ads status how much free minutes you have left for that day.You may ask why Docomo is giving free minutes to its users have they gone mad or something ?
Whenever you will make call through your phone it will ask you to make free call by ads or paid call. When you choose free call by ads it will show you a small commercial video then as soon as the ad ends your call will be connected. But only the 1st minute will be free after that you will be charged as per your current plan. Also sometimes it happens that our call doesnot get connected due to phone switch off, outside of coverage area or is busy talking to other person in that case 1 minute STD and Local call will be credited in your account. You can checked the credited free minutes by dailling *111*1# or *111*2# because your call doesnot get connected even after watching the video ad.
You can check how much ads or free minutes or free calls[ only 1 minute] is left by going to the Tata docomo Get app Daily ads status menu.
